[Example] Collecting dust in the heat treatment and shot blasting process at a steelworks.

Even in harsh environments such as factories, options are available to capture fine dust in factories and warehouses that cannot be collected by dust collectors! It is effective against airborne dust.

In the process of removing the black scale (black rust) from the surface of carbon steel (general steel) after heat treatment (tempering), "shot blasting" is performed. Although the main body of the equipment is equipped with a dust collection system, it cannot completely eliminate the invisible dust, and within a day, the workers' masks become completely black. The size of this workspace is 120 square meters with a height of 5 meters, resulting in a volume of 600 cubic meters. The QleanAir FS 70 Standard (suspended dust cleaner) has an air processing capacity of 3000 cubic meters per hour, capturing suspended dust and supplying air that has been filtered. With the introduction of one unit, the air is replaced every 12 minutes. As a result, after the operation of the QleanAir FS 70 Standard, it was confirmed that the amount of suspended dust was reduced by approximately 50% compared to before operation. Additionally, by equipping the large intake port at the front of the suspended dust collector with an optional pad filter, it is possible to reduce the deterioration of the main filter. Clean Air Scandinavia's suspended dust cleaners offer options tailored to customer needs even in harsh environments, effectively solving issues related to suspended dust.

[Case Study] Measures against airborne dust generated during cleaning with air blowers.

Collects fine dust in factories and warehouses that cannot be captured by dust collectors! "Protects factory equipment from dust and reduces cleaning frequency."

When air blowing is performed for the purpose of reducing cleaning time in equipment, although the objects may become clean, the dust and particles blown away by the air will disperse in that area. As a result, they may adhere to other equipment or processing machines, potentially causing malfunctions or affecting product yield rates. Many customers may face the challenge of insufficient cleaning due to reasons such as staff shortages. By installing Clean Air Scandinavia's "FS 70 Standard," airborne dust throughout the factory can be captured by filters. This helps to reduce the adhesion of airborne dust blown away by air to other equipment and processing machines, and decreases the accumulation of dust and dirt in hard-to-reach high areas, ultimately reducing the frequency of cleaning. Depending on the size of the target area, measurements taken at actual customer sites have shown that the amount of airborne dust in the range of 0.3 to 1.0 µm has decreased by approximately 75% compared to operational conditions. Additionally, we will propose appropriate airflow and types of filters based on the specific conditions of the site.
